Creamy Pesto Sauce

Blendtec is quickly becoming one of our favorite sources for blender recipes. Resident blogger, Kelli Farley, just posted up an amazing creamy pesto sauce recipe. We especially love her zucchini noodle idea.

Kelly says: Try this delicious creamy pesto sauce over a bed of zucchini noodles. To make zucchini noodles, slice zucchini into julienne strips. To soften, salt the noodles and rinse after 15 minutes. Toss noodles with this velvety pesto sauce and reserve a little avocado for garnish.


14   cup cold-pressed olive oil
3   tablespoons water
14   teaspoon sea salt
1   clove garlic, quartered
1   cup basil leaves, lightly packed
1 avocado, peeled and pitted
12   cup pine nutsCombine ingredients in high speed blender and blend until smooth.
